Torrevieja market days: the giant Friday market, plus Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor
Friday: Torrevieja
Hundreds of stalls: fruit, olives, cheese, cured ham, flowers, clothes, shoes, bags, tablecloths, electronics of uncertain provenance. Go between 9:00 and 11:00 for the pick of the produce and a parking space; it winds down by 14:00. In 2026 the market operates from the Parque Antonio Soria area after moving from its long-time Avenida Delfina Viudes site; check the town hall notices if you are relying on parking, as the layout has changed. Bring cash and small notes; few stalls take cards.
Saturday: Playa Flamenca
Four minutes by car or a twenty-minute walk from the villa, on the streets behind Playa Flamenca beach, 8:00 to 14:00. Strong on clothes, leather, beach gear and household goods, with fruit and veg at the far end. Busy by 10:30; park on the N-332 side.

Market tips
Cash, in small notes. ATMs near markets run dry by noon.
Haggle gently on clothes and leather; not on food.
Keep bags in front of you in the Friday crush.
The food stalls (olives, nuts, spices, roast chicken, churros) are the real reason to go.
Sunglasses and hats are cheap and good; branded trainers are neither.
